Well, most of the time, with exceptions, I will be posting about things I'm thankful for and why. There will be deviations of course. Aren't there exceptions to every rule? Of course! So, I'll have deviations to do a particular theme or I will be thankful for something and it will carry over into more than one post, or I'll just post something random because I'm excited about it. Blogs are for fun right? Right. So, since blogs are supposed to be fun, I'll write on other things other than thankfulness sometimes. All posts will end with a Bible verse in the NKJV.

Creator

Isaiah 43:15 "I am the LORD, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King.”

John 1:3 "All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made."

Colossians 1:16 "For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him."

Nehemiah 9:6 "You alone are the LORD. You made the heavens, even the highest heavens, and all their starry host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. You give life to everything, and the multitudes of heaven worship you."

God being our creator is the foundation of our faith. Think about it. The beginning of Genesis is all about creation and what God created. And, as you can see from the verses above, there are references to God being the Creator all throughout the Bible. Old Testament and New Testament. Humans are intelligent beings, capable of making decisions, of speaking, we have emotions, etc... That could not have occurred by chance. It all happened because of God's plan, by His creating us and the world we live in. In order to respond to God at any level, we need to acknowledge His handiwork in us and the things around us. He gives life to everything. All things were made by Him and for Him. He is our Life-giver.

  1. I find it amazing that of all the evidence of Intelligent Design people still choose ignorance over truth, but I guess that's what happens when you give your 'intelligent' creations an alternate path. And you make an excellent point, all things were made by Him, for Him.
